Lori Shapiro is a celebrity spouse who happens to be the wife of Governor Josh Shapiro.

The two have been married for more than two decades now since they tied the knot in 1997.  They were high school lovers at Akiba Hebrew Academy, now Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy. They met in ninth grade and started dating shortly afterwards.

Together with her husband, they welcomed four children: Sophia Shapiro, Reuben Shapiro, Max Shapiro and Jonah Shapiro.

She is the daughter of an electrical engineer father and an office manager mother. Her parents parted ways when she was young.  She grew up with her mother and stepfather who was a veterinarian.

Shapiro graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology. She is an American clinical social worker.
