When she was fifteen, Tina was noticed by a screenwriter and creative mentor Sean Harris, who convinced her to pursue a music career, which she eventually did. Concurrently attending her studies as a biology major at Rutgers University and performing with her family on weekends, Tina worked with Harris in the studio and writing her own music. Upon graduating from university, she was signed to Rebellion Entertainment and spent the following year working on her songs and new demos. She eventually signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music and Sony.

Tina was soon signed as a singer to Hollywood Records, and at the same time worked for Warner/Chappell Music as a songwriter, which brought her great experience and boosted her career further. She has now written and recorded more than 60 songs, and collaborated with big names such as Ringo Starr, Kelly Ripa and Fat Joe. In 2008, her remix of the song “Break Me” hit number four on the Billboard Dance Chart, and was featured in the premiere episode of the new “Melrose Place” series. The following year, Sugandh independently released her debut album named “Tabla Girl”. Her net worth was well set.
