He was a two-star recruit and was ranked as the No. 232 running back in the class of 2015. He overcame injuries while playing for the Aggies and spent time with Manusomo Luuga, another talented back. Kelley was a year younger than his fellow freshmen in his first season. He didn’t receive a full scholarship until the beginning of his sophomore year, but after the season, when head coach Ron Gould and the rest of the coaching staff were fired, he gave it up and transferred. Even though the new coaching staff wanted him to stay, Kelley pushed himself to play at the pinnacle of college football.
